Surfite is created from the build up of coloured resins used in the creation of custom surf boards. The resin pools and sets on the floor of the workshop and is eventually broken up off the floor. In the past most of this would go to landfill but innovative lapidarists have found a new use for it in unique pieces of jewellery.
Pool balls are used to make unique, upcycled jewellery stones using the face directly with the number on it or by creating unique shapes from the core material.
